Is Pay Per Click A Gamble?
Whenever the topic of generating traffic to a website is raised, I have always favored PPC (Pay-per-click) as the best solution. If done right, I have found it to be affordable and well worth the money spent. But the people that I talk to seem to opine that it is a major risk and they don't seem to see the return on their investment. Their argument may not hold any water especially if you consider that I was able to acquire a list of fifteen thousand subscribers and all within my very first year online and all for free.
Today, I spent many hours online but none of it was spent doing any work. I would have at the most spent about 30 minutes doing a bit of advertising. In spite of that, I somehow managed to get over 2000 visitors to visit my site. Are you curious to know why? Well, the reason is that I have spent an hour or so every day, for the last few years, developing automatic advertising campaigns. These are campaigns that once they are set up, they run on until you shout stop! Here's an example.
While watching the TV one night, which in itself is a rarity since I never watch it, I saw an infomercial regarding a stock program that shows the way to make money by selling stocks. Watching the commercial, I got an idea. Since I too have a product that shows people how to make money online, I thought that it would be a fantastic idea to create a PPC ad and use it to get some customers to my site. I pushed myself out of the 'lazy boy' mode and created a PPC ad using the product's name as the keyword. Within a few hours or so, someone had gone to my site and had purchased the product for 197$. I would have at the most spent only about 5 minutes for creating the PPC ad and another 10 minutes or so for the article. Since then, I have managed to earn about $500 or so, just from that single ad. I had to take down that ad recently due to copyright but I have 1200 more like them, all churning up visitors for my sites.
The articles for my products are great but I get them written for me. You should do the same as your time is very important, so we will have to leverage it accordingly. Even if I stop spending any time online trying to promote my websites, I would still be able to net at least 1300 visitors per day. The key to any good traffic is that once you immerse yourself into time intensive forms of advertising like article marketing, it will be in your interest to learn more about web traffic and see if you can get more. Any site with any niche can very easily use the internet advertising to get some great traffic to their sites and the way to go about this is in using the right marketing funnel.
Wish you all the success and god bless!
